El Paso County offices closed for Memorial Day
All El Paso County administrative and elected administrative offices and affiliated agencies will be closed in observance of Memorial Day.
Those closed include:
El Paso County Public Health
Department of Human Services
Pikes Peak Workforce Center
Colorado Springs
Small Business Development Center
Colorado Procurement Technical Assistance Center
CSU Extension
El Paso County Public Trustee
The offices of the 4th Judicial District Attorney
El Paso County Combined Courts
The El Paso County Clerk and Recorder’s North Motor Vehicle Branch will be open for its regular Saturday schedule onMay 28from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Clerk & Recorder services including Motor Vehicle, Recording and Elections Department functions are available at that location.
On Tuesday, May 24, the Board of El Paso County Commissioners approved a Proclamation recognizing Memorial day and the military service and sacrifice of Americans and Canadians who have fought for our freedoms.
Commissioners encourage citizens to participate in Memorial Day ceremonies happening at various sites across the County. One of those ceremonies will be held at The Retired Enlisted Association at 11 a.m.Monday, May 30at the Chapter 1 office, 834 Emory Circle, Colorado Springs.
