Pueblo Police Department announces nine arrests in Safe Streets Round-Up

The Pueblo Police Department says nine people were arrested during an FBI Safe Streets Task Force sweep on Friday, May 20.

In addition to the arrests, two stolen hand guns, an ounce of heroin and half-an-ounce of meth were seized.

Police say the following people were arrested and face the following charges:

Augustine Sanchez (26) First Degree Assault with a Deadly Weapon
Charlee Anaya (26) Dangerous Drugs-No Bond, False Reporting $5,000 & Failure to Comply $1,500
Angel Avila (21) Contempt of Court (Municipal) $295
Nathan Welsh (33) Contempt of Court-Dangerous Drugs $5,000 & Failure to Comply $1,000 Ryan Valdez (23) Failure to Appear-Dangerous Drugs $25,000, Contempt of Court No Bond & Failure to Appear (Municipal) $275 Dionlei Algien (22) Failure to Appear-Traffic $1,000
Josiah Gallegos (22) $50,000 Smuggling Contraband Into a Prison & Flight Escape-No Bond
Gary Rose (38) False Imprisonment-No Bond
Ronnie Jacquez (19 ) Third Degree Assault-$5000

The Safe Streets Task Force is made up of local and federal law enforcement.
