Police: ‘large’ marijuana grow found in Fountain home

The Fountain Police Department says a report of possible utility meter tampering led to the discovery of a marijuana grow Tuesday.

Police say the grow was found in a home in the 900 block of Legend Oak Drive, which is in a neighborhood east of Fountain Mesa Road and south of C&S Road.

Dangerous electrical wiring and evidence of meter tampering were found in the home, according to Fountain Police.

Susana Amador, 54, was served a summons and released. She faces a charge of utility tampering.

While police characterized the marijuana grow as “large,” no charges related to the grow have been filed.

Electricity was turned off at the home for safety reasons.
