“Move or Die” painted on woman’s home
Harsh words have been spray-painted on Luane Freark’s home in Colorado Springs.
The message, “Move or die” was left in black paint on her garage door Tuesday morning.
But Luane says the strong message was meant for her neighbor, a man accused of sexually assaulting a child.
“When you walk up and see that, it’s personal. It makes you question your safety,” Freark said.
But there’s one more word painted on her garage.
“It also says ‘Chomo’ which, I think means child molester. I’m pretty sure they think I’m the person next door,” Freark said.
Freark says that address belongs to John Frey. Frey is accused of molesting up to five children at his wife’s home day care. Freark says tensions have been high in the neighborhood since Frey’s arrest in February. He’s been in and out of court.
“Somebody in the neighborhood has had enough. I think people with young children feel threatened. That could be what this is, a ‘Please get out of our neighborhood,'” said Freark.
Frey’s case has been pushed back to next month.
“You should let the justice system work and not do something like this, but darn, if you need to do something like this, please make sure you know who you’re doing it to,” Freark said.
Police said whoever vandalized Freark’s home could face charges of criminal mischief and harassment.

The Colorado Springs Police Department reports that John “Jake” Frey, 68, was arrested for sexual assault on a child.
Police said Frey met his alleged victim through his wife’s home child care business, which was not licensed.
The investigation began on Feb. 22, 2016 when the first allegation of inappropriate behavior surfaced. Police say that during the course of the investigation, they came to the conclusion that Frey initiated sexual contact with several juveniles in his wife’s care.
Right now, Frey is facing a charge of sexual assault on a child. He was arrested on February 24. He was released on $15,000 bail.
