Cimarron reopens after crash

A crash that blocked Cimarron Street near downtown Colorado Springs Friday has been cleaned up.

At around 1 p.m., Cimarron was closed due to a two-car accident.

A second accident on I-25 southbound near Cimarron was announced by police at 1:45 p.m.

A total of 7 vehicles were involved in these two separate wrecks, causing a major traffic backup.

No injuries were reported.
