Couple found dead in Pueblo home identified

The deaths of a man and woman in Pueblo Sunday are being investigated as a murder-suicide, according to our partners at The Pueblo Chieftain.

The two were found by a family member in a home on Ironbridge Lane. That is near Jerry Murphy Road and Highway 47, east of I-25.

Dead are Ken Ramos, 48, and Lisa Ramos, 47. Police tell the Chieftain they believe Ken Ramos shot his wife and then himself.

Neighbors gathered to watch as police investigated Sunday.

Melissa Martinez said she heard the family member minutes after she made the discovery.

“I heard sirens and stuff. I heard a lady screaming and that’s when I came outside,” said Martinez. “It was really sad. I know me something very devastating had happened.

George Garcia said he knew his neighbors, but not well.

“The neighbors have been really good people it seemed like. The neighbors were a young man and a young woman,” said Garcia. “I was shocked and surprised just as everyone else is that the whole street was blocked off.”
