UPDATE: Victims identified in deadly crash north of Monument

Colorado State Patrol has identified the victims in a deadly crash that happened Friday (5/13/16) evening, on the I-25 Frontage Road near the Greenland Road exit.

They are Valentine Baca, 40 and Simon Mejia, 40. A 15-year-old boy was also killed, but investigators have not released his name.

Meanwhile, investigators are looking for witnesses who saw the crash.

The SUV went off the right side of the road and into culvert near the Greenland interchange. The vehicle hit a bridge rail on its left side, struck the bridge wall with its roof and hit the bridge support on its right side.

Investigators say no one was wearing a seat belt. Police do not consider drugs or alcohol as factors in the crash.
