Pueblo teen accused of using school email to try to arrange sex with 11-year-old

An 18-year-old from Pueblo is arrested and facing charges after allegedly sending sexually explicit emails to an 11-year-old.

Daren Alexander is a student at Pueblo Central High School. He sent inappropriate emails from his school email account to an 11-year-old girl, according to the Pueblo Police Department.

Alexander is accused of trying to meet with the victim to have a sexual encounter, but a meeting never happened.

Alexander is facing charges of Attempted Sexual Assault on a Child and Internet Luring of a Child.
