Man says he was stabbed by woman after refusing sex

A man is recovering after telling Colorado Springs police that he was stabbed for saying “no” to sex.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday on the 100 block of E. Platte Ave.

Springs police say the man had a stab wound to his shoulder when they arrived on scene. He was taken to Memorial Hospital and has non-life threatening injuries.

The man told the police he was stabbed by a woman after refusing to have sex with her. However, police say the victim was not cooperating with medical staff or officers in providing any details about the woman or situation.

No arrests have been made.
