Man chases another man with hatchet at COS park

Colorado Springs police arrested a man Thursday for felony menacing.

Apparently, Daniel Goff, 46, he was chasing another man in Dorchester Park while swinging a hatchet.

Goff had two cuts on his left arm. An investigation revealed that the other man punched Goff in the face, which caused Goff to fall off of a rock, and cut himself with the hatchet.

It was determined that the other man was acting in self-defense when he punched Goff.
