Wanted man found asleep in car runs from police
Police say a man who an officer was checking on ran when the officer discovered he was wanted.
The incident happened in the area of Washington Avenue and El Paso Boulevard.
Manitou Springs Police Officers and El Paso County Sheriff’s Deputies were searching the area Wednesday afternoon.
Police say someone called to report finding a man sleeping in a vehicle. The officer went to check on the man.
Police have not yet released the man’s name or what he is wanted for, but they say there is a felony warrant out for his arrest.
