One arrested after shot fired during fight between roommates

One man is under arrest after police say he fired a gun during an argument with his roommate.

It happened Monday night in the 2900 block of North Cascade Avenue.

Police say the man, later identified as 28-year-old Samuel Elrod, was arguing with his roommate when he fired into the air.

No one was hurt and no buildings were damaged.

Elrod is facing charges of prohibited use of a firearm. Investigators believe he was intoxicated at the time.
