Bomb threat turns out to be nothing near UCCS

The Lodges Apartment complex near UCCS is deemed safe after officers responded to a bomb threat.

It happened late last night in the 5800 block of N. Nevada Avenue.

Officers say they found a suspicious plastic container with wires and a switch on top.

It was found in the parking garage.

A bomb squad responded to the scene, checked our the container and found that it was not an explosive device. No arrests have been made.
