tonight. transport our heroes to washington, d.c. to visit and reflect at their memorials. – that’s the mission behind a colorado springs group which just completed a big trip. only krdo newschannel 13 was onboard the eighth honor flight of southern colorado. 25 veterans visited the world war two and korean war memorials – among other spots along the way. the group charges the veterans nothing for the chance to see these sites in a person – and it has a huge impact on every one of them. i’m thinking about all the people i know that are gone. family. lots of family. and it’s very meaningful tomorrow night, i take you on the honor flight – and the incredible stories of the men and woman who boarded a plane bound for d-c. it’s a special report only on krdo newschannel 13 tomorrow night at ten
