Police investigating home with possible gang activity ties

Pueblo police are investigating a home where there has been possible gang activity.

Officers responded to a call of suspicious activity at a home on the 1200 block of North La Crosse Ave at about 5 p.m.

Seven people have been detained related to burglaries.

Police said they have responded to more than 12 calls in the last two weeks at this home from shootings to drug activity.

Officers said the homeowner gave permission for them to go inside the home.

That’s where they found several possible stolen items including a car.

“We have had a number of neighbors come out and are happy to see that we are up here and doing something about a problem in their neighborhood,” Sgt. Dennis Furbush said.

The case is still under investigation.
