Man arrested after negligently shooting gun

One person is under arrest after an accidental shooting in Colorado Springs. It happened Wednesday night in the 5500 block of Woodmen Ridge View.

Police say, Rodolfo Morin’s fired his gun while under the influence of alcohol and prescription medication.

He suffered from abrasions to his face that were caused by unburned powder and other debris exiting the barrel of the gun. The bullet went through a bedroom window towards an unoccupied apartment building.

No one else was hurt.

Morin, was arrested on charges prohibited use of weapons and reckless endangerment.
