Driver arrested after allegedly crashing into State Patrol vehicle

Colorado State Patrol Say one person was arrested after crashing into a state trooper’s vehicle. It happened Wednesday night near the intersection of Palmer Park and Buena Ventura Street.

Investigators say the trooper was on a traffic stop when the vehicle was sideswiped by another vehicle. The trooper was inside the patrol vehicle at the time. The driver of the vehicle drove away and was found by troopers shortly after.

Investigators believe the driver may have been drunk at the time.

The trooper is expected to be okay.
