Job fair hopes to employ 1,400 in El Paso County

A job fair today at the Pikes Peak Worforce Center hopes to employ more than 1,400 people with jobs.

More than 120 employers are attending today’s spring adult job fair that’s open to the public.

The fair is for people 18 years of age and older.

It starts at 11 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. at the Hotel Elegant Conference and Event Center at 2886 South Circle Drive in Colorado Springs.

The Workforce center says that veterans who are transitioning from the military, and their eligible spouses, can get into the job fair earlier, starting at 9:30 a.m.

Anyone who has complete the Pikes Peak Workforce Center workship, “How to Make the Job Fair Work For You!” can enter at 10:15 a.m.
