Buried in snow: Still digging out
Woodland Park is buried under two feet of snow from the latest spring storm.
“The snow is sliding off the roof and taking our guttering system with it,” said JJ Triebold who works at the Dinosaur Resource Center in Woodland Park.
The weight of the snow broke rain gutters off the roof at the Dinosaur Resource Center.
“We had to tape off the parking area by the building, We’re afraid that we might get a whole curtain of snow falling down on people,” said Triebold.
Snowplows were incredibly busy over the weekend; now many in Woodland Park are left with huge snowbanks that tower over parking lots and streets.
