7th Street death ruled homicide

Colorado Springs Police say a man who was found dead in a west side home Friday was stabbed to death.

Police were called to the home in the 200 block of N. 7th Street at 2 p.m. on April 15.

Kyle Sullivan, 29, was found dead inside.

The El Paso County Coroner’s Office performed an autopsy on Sullivan and ruled that his cause of death was stabbing and his manner of death was homicide.

No suspects have been identified.

This is the first homicide in Colorado Springs in 2016. There had been five homicides in the city at this time last year.
