Former D-11 security guard pleads guilty to sexual assault on a child
A former Colorado Springs District 11 security guard who was accused of having a sexual relationship with a runaway teenager pleaded guilty Tuesday.
Tyler Hamilton, 29, pleaded guilty to sexual assault on a child-10 year age difference and to contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Colorado Springs police said officers arrested Hamilton on Thursday, February 4, 2016.
Hamilton said he didn’t know the girl was 16 until he was arrested.
Hamilton’s bond was lowered to $6,000 Tuesday. He will be sentenced on June 28.
