Two Pueblo West men arrested in drug bust

Two Pueblo men were arrested last Friday after one of them allegedly used social media to attempt to sell LSD to an undercover detective.

Police say an undercover detective contacted 19-year-old Mitchell Elfert through his social media account, where Elfert was advertising the sale of LSD. The detective met Elfert at an undisclosed location where the officer planned to purchase 100 tabs of LSD.

Police reports say that Elfert met with the detective and told him that he gets his drugs mailed to him through the U.S. Mail. Elfert sold the officer 50 tabs of LSD before he was taken into custody.

The driver, 18-year-old Austin Shelman was also taken into custody. Police say the detective was allowed to search the vehicle, and found seven tabs of LSD and individually wrapped bags of marijuana.
