Fountain Police investigate shooting

One person was injured during a shooting in Fountain early Sunday (04/10/16) morning.

Officers responded to a call on the 1300 Block of Ancestra Dr. around 4:30 am, for a report of a disturbance and shots fired.

Officers at the scene found a man in the street with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Memorial Hospital and was later released with non-life threatening injuries.

Fountain PD says the individual involved in the shooting and the other residents of the house have been questioned, and the investigation is ongoing.

The police did not say if any arrests were made, but do say there are no outstanding suspects at this time and there is no danger to the community.
