Woman hit with debris when truck hits overhang

A Colorado Springs woman was hurt after she was hit with falling debris at a local gas station.The incident happened at the Sinclair gas station on North Academy Rd., near Constitution Rd.

Police report that a big box truck damaged the support beams for the awning.The truck did not make the 12-foot clearance, and clipped the overhang.

Lori Taylor was hit by debris when she was trying to prevent anyone else from getting hurt.No one was seriously injured in the accident, and the police roped off the gas pumps.
