Crash closes Mesa Ridge Parkway in Fountain

A crash closed a stretch of Mesa Ridge Parkway in Fountain Friday evening.

The Fountain Fire Department says the intersection of Mesa Ridge Parkway and Syracuse Street was shut down at 4:55 p.m.

Initial reports are that a female driver hit several vehicles on Highway 85/87 then turned eastbound onto Mesa Ridge Parkway. The incident ended at Syracuse Street.

There are no life threatening injuries.

Police are investigating the possibility that the woman may have been drunk.
