Peterson Staff Sergeant accused in multiple Front Range rapes

The Colorado Springs Police Department says a Staff Sergeant who is stationed at Peterson Air Force Base is accused of committing rapes in Colorado Springs and Aurora.

Police say Desmond Martin, 29, is currently facing charges for three 2015 sexual assaults in Colorado Springs and one 2016 sexual assault in Aurora. Investigators say Martin may be linked to additional sexual assaults in Colorado Springs and Denver.

Martin has been in jail at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center since February 15, 2016.
