SUV crashes into Colorado Springs apartment building

The driver of an SUV that crashed into an apartment building in Colorado Springs walked away with no injuries.

The crash happened Sunday afternoon (04/03/16), at the Pinewood Apartments on E. Dale Street.

CSFD says the driver was heading south on Dale when they lost control and crashed into the side of the building.

The SUV went almost half way into a person’s bedroom.

There was significant damage to the wall, but fire officials don’t believe there was structural damage to the building.

No one inside the building was hurt.

Colorado Springs Police are investigating the crash.
