Major highways reopen after Spring blizzard
UPDATE at 9:54 a.m. Thursday: Most of the major eastern Colorado highways that were closed because of Wednesday’s blizzard have reopened.

UPDATE at 6:25 a.m. Thursday: CDOT says Highway 24 is closed between Constitution to Limon.

UPDATE at 10:59 p.m. Wednesday: Colorado State Patrol in Colorado Springs says both directions of I-25 from Colorado Springs to Castle Rock are now open. Troopers said roads are still icy.

UPDATE at 9:52 p.m. Wednesday: CDOT tweeted that two lanes are open at Monument Hill and queue cleared. Getting plows through & then full open.

Northbound Interstate 25 is closed at N. Academy Boulevard because of the March blizzard.
The storm is creating whiteout conditions that have forced the closure of the following major highways in eastern Colorado:
I-25 closed in both directions between Colorado Springs & Castle Rock
Highway 83 north from Colorado Springs
Powers Boulevard from Woodmen Road to Interquest Parkway
Northbound Voyager is closed at Research.
I-70: closed Aurora to Kansas
Highway 94 is closed between Enoch Road and Punkin Center
Woodmen Road from east of Powers Blvd.
Falcon Highway impassable west of Curtis Road
Hodgen Road impassable
Hwy 40/287: closed Lamar to Kit Carson
Hwy 71: closed Limon to Last Chance
Hwy 86: Elizabeth to I-70.
