Results of Planned Parenthood shooting suspect’s mental competency exam not yet officially released

There are widespread reports about the mental competency of Planned Parenthood shooting suspect Robert Dear, but no official information has been released.

Dear and a man claiming to be his cellmate at the El Paso County Jail called our newsroom to discuss the results of the evaluation on Wednesday.

Dear was sent to the Colorado Mental Health Institute in Pueblo for the tests.
