Broncos sign 4-time Pro Bowl tackle Russell Okung
The Denver Broncos announced Thursday they’ve signed four-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle Russell Okung.
Okung, formerly of the Seattle Seahawks, reportedly signed with Denver for five years at roughly $10.6 million per year. He was the sixth overall pick to Seattle in 2010 NFL Draft out of Oklahoma State University.
Okung is also recovering from off-season shoulder surgery, but he’s expected to be ready to go by training camp.
This signing likely means the end of Ryan Clady’s tenure in Denver. Okung is projected to start at left tackle, and with the addition of former Kansas City Chiefs tackle Donald Stephenson the team is expected to trade Clady if they can.
