KRDO NewsChannel 13, Where the News Comes First® in Southern Colorado, has an immediate opening for a Digital Content Producer/Assignment Editor.

Job Description:
The Digital Content Producer/Assignment Editor will be responsible for producing informative and engaging news content for our website KRDO.com, our social media accounts and our other digital platforms.
This is a full time position that will require working from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. three days during the week and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The typical weekday shift will focus on producing web content as assigned by the Digital Content Director, with assignment desk duties added into the mix on evenings and weekends. This position will also require filling in for the Digital Content Director and Assignment Manager as needed.
Required Qualifications:
A degree in journalism, experience producing news content for the web and experience running an assignment desk are plusses.
Solid news judgment, the ability to make fast decisions under pressure and a passion for breaking news are MUSTS.
