Church bus involved in El Paso County crash
Colorado State Patrol says a church bus was involved in a crash at Highway 24 and Marksheffel Road Monday morning.
The crash was reported at 10:09 a.m.
Troopers say the bus, which belongs to New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Fountain, turned in front of a pickup truck that was eastbound on Highway 24.
The truck crashed into the side of the bus.
The driver of the truck was not hurt. Two of the seven people who were on the bus were taken to the hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.
The crash is under investigation. No charges have been announced.
