Colorado earns 8 seed, will play UCONN Thursday
The University of Colorado basketball team was selected as the South Region’s number eight seed in the 2016 NCAA Tournament.
The Buffs (22-11) will face number nine seed and American Athletic Conference champion UCONN (24-10) on Thursday in Des Moines, Iowa.
In the Midwest Region: (3) Utah, (4) Purdue, (5) Iowa State, (6) Seton Hall, (11) Gonzaga, (12) the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, (13) Iona, and (14) Fresno State will all play their first and second round games at the Pepsi Center in Denver.
