ORIGINAL STORY

The child is described as an 11-month old girl with blond hair. She was left in the care of a babysitter at the Creekside Apartments near Powers Boulevard and Space Center Drive on March 5 and March 6.

Police say the child was in an infant seat or car seat carrier. The parents are possibly new to the Colorado Springs area and are not suspects. The police department would like to identify the child and check her welfare.
