Police say a woman from Colorado Springs and a man from Pueblo are facing drug charges after they were arrested outside of a northwest side grocery store.

Cynthia Reeung, 37, and Dennis Gonzales, 39, were arrested outside of the Safeway at Centennial Boulevard and Vindicator Drive at around 5 p.m. on March 10, 2016. Both are facing a charge of distribution of a schedule II controlled substance.

Police say 15 ounces of meth, 13 ounces of heroin, 36 grams of cocaine and a fully loaded 9mm semi-automatic handgun were recovered. The serial number on the gun had been defaced.

As part of this investigation, a search warrant was executed in the 7200 block of Aspen Glen Lane.
