Man claims he was joking in attempted bank robbery
Colorado Springs police are looking for a man they say attempted to rob a bank Wednesday afternoon.
Investigators say a man walked into the Bank of Colorado on Edison Avenue and demanded money before telling the clerk he was joking, and left.
Police say the person was described as a white male, about six foot tall with dark hair, a mustache and beard. He was wearing a black overcoat, jeans and a t-shirt
No one was hurt and the investigation is ongoing.
