Cannabis Cup permit submitted to Pueblo County
Plans to bring the Cannabis Cup to Pueblo are moving forward.
High Times Magazine filed a permit application moments before the Tuesday deadline.
The event is planned for April 20, a date known by many as “weed day.”
Organizers for the marijuana mega-festival have their eyes set on the Saint Charles Mesa. They’ve been in talks with the Giodone family to use the same lot that hosts the annual Bands in the Backyard concert series.
The county is expected to rule on the permit by mid-March.
