“Mask-or-Aid” fundraiser for those in need of legal help

The Pueblo County Bar association held its annual “Mask-or-Aid” ball Saturday night at the Pueblo Union Depot.

Prohibition-era cocktails and jazz music kept with the roaring twenties theme. Mask-or-Aid is a fundraising event that’s meant for legal projects to help those who cannot afford legal help. It’s also geared towards abused and neglected children.

The dinner, dancing and silent auction were just a few features of the night that was dedicated to help people who need legal help.

“I think it’s just a really good time to come out and socialize with friends and colleagues, and give back to good causes,” said Carla Sikes, president of the Pueblo County Bar Association.
