Dog dies in Pueblo West shed fire

Fire crews have contained a fire that burned a shed at the corner of Osceola Dr. and Avenida Del Oro.

The fire broke out in a backyard shed around 1:00pm. The shed and all of its contents are a complete loss.

Pueblo West Metro crews responded to the fire along with mutual aid from Pueblo County brush trucks.

A German Shepard was killed in the fire.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.

No one was injured, and burn damage was restricted to the area around the shed.
