Students shave heads for good cause

Several hundred students in Colorado said goodbye to their hair Tuesday for a good cause.

Rampart High School held its annual Bald 4 Bucks assembly. More than 300 students – including students from the nearby elementary and middle school either cut or shaved their heads. They did it to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. they hold the second place in the nation for the most money raised for the organization. this year, they aim to raise $50,000.

“It allows us to actually unite in a single cause. because no matter who you are, somehow cancer will affect your life, and the sooner we can find a cure, the sooner we can stop losing loved ones,” student Braden Beeman said.
