Cannabis Cup could move to Pueblo
A permit has been filed with Pueblo County to hold the Cannabis Cup, a marijuana trade show in April.
The show could be held in the same space as “Bands in the Backyard” on the mesa, southeast of the city.
We talked with neighbors who say, as long as there’s no trouble, they wouldn’t mind having the crowd.
“Probably traffic and noise and you know maybe if there is a giant cloud of pot smoke everywhere, it might bother people, but other than that,” said Vicki Hobbs, who lives on the mesa.
The county attorney says the permit has been “initially” approved pending a few final details.
The final decision needs to be made a month out from the event.
