A report of a fight in a moving car led to a police chase and crash on the north end of Colorado Springs Monday

Just before 11 a.m., Colorado Springs Police Department received a call of a disturbance near I-25 and Fillmore Road heading northbound. The reporting parties indicated that the vehicle was occupied by a male and female.

Officers were dispatched to the area in an attempt to locate the vehicle. Police say the driver pulled over at I-25 and North Gate Boulevard, but soon sped away and a short pursuit ensued.

The vehicle continued eastbound and was involved in a two car accident with another vehicle at Baptist Road. No serious injuries were reported.

The male and female fled on foot to a nearby bank where both parties were taken into custody. No names have been released. The investigation is ongoing.
