Firefighters contain Saturday morning fire
Firefighters have contained a house fire that began Saturday morning in Green Mountain Falls, just north of Cascade.
The fire was reported around 6 a.m., at a house along Highway 24.
Firefighters say the flames did spread to some surrounding grass and trees, but were contained.
The house was ruled a total loss.
No one was hurt.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
