Middle school academic team wins competition
For students at St. John Neumann Catholic School in Pueblo, learning is a competitive sport.
The school won the championship title in Pueblo and now the team advances to compete nationally.
The competition tests students on anything from math to geography. Now they’ll go head to head against other schools from across the country.
Claire Davis, an eight-grade team member, says being on the team has helped her become a better student.
“It gives me just confidence in general and I know a lot of random facts that no one else would know. So it’s just, it’s a really great experience,” said Davis.
