Lamborn announces run for sixth term in Congress

5th Congressional District Representative Doug Lamborn announced Wednesday that he will run for a sixth term in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Lamborn, a Republican, released the following statement: “I humbly ask for the continued support of the voters of the Fifth Congressional District. It is through this support that I have repeatedly been elected to Congress and have roughly $225,000 cash on hand for my re-election campaign. It is an honor and a privilege to be your Representative in Washington DC.”

The 5th Congressional District covers five counties in central Colorado, including El Paso County, Teller County, Fremont County, Park County and Chaffee County.
