A handful of apartment tenants in Colorado Springs have not had hot water for several weeks — and they say, nothing’s being done about it.
We spoke with one woman who lives at the Summer Grove apartments on the North East side of the city
Victoria Higbee has been without hot water for two months. She has to boil her dish water, her daughter’s bath water and shower at work. She says it’s frustrating because management isn’t communicating with tenants.
“Nobody from management is saying we apologize, this is what’s going on, this is what we’re trying to do for you. None of that is taking place,” Higbee said.
The management company sent out a letter to tenants offering up a vacant apartment for hot showers.
