Castle Rock “Broncos Star” vandalized

The Castle Rock fire department says the staple of the city, the Star that sits on the top of Castle Rock, has been vandalized.

The star’s light had been turned orange and blue to celebrate the Denver Bronco’s. The fire department says someone vandalized the lights and they will have to turn the star off either tonight or tomorrow night. Their twitter account says that the blue lights are all out, leaving just half of the star orange.

The department posted on their facebook page that, “Whoever did it can never kill our town spirit though! GO BRONCOS!!!!!”
