Armed home invasion reported at home day care in El Paso County

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office says a home invasion happened in the 1900 block of Riverwalk Parkway. That is southeast of the intersection of Constitution Avenue and Marksheffel Road.

Police say the victim answered her door to a female suspect. The female suspect asked the victim to confirm the address. The victim confirmed the address and the female suspect turned to walk away. The victim then turned around and found three men all armed with handguns, wearing hoodies and masks covering their faces in the residence.

The male suspects entered the residence through a sliding glass door in the rear of the residence. Two of them went upstairs and searched the house. The three male suspects then left the residence through the garage. Two firearms, the victim’s cell phone and her purse were taken during the incident.

The female suspect is white or Hispanic, and 18 to 25 years of age. She is 5’5″ tall, weighing 135 lbs. She has blonde or light hair with dark roots and was wearing a red tank top with black pants.

Male suspect 1 is white, 5’9″ tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a dark hoodie, black pants and a black mask with a skull design. He had a black handgun with a laser sight.

Male suspect 2 is a Hispanic male, 5’6′ tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a dark hoodie, jeans and a mask. He also had a handgun.

Male Suspect 3 is white, wearing a dark hoodie, jeans and a mask. He also had a hand gun.

There may be additional suspects. There is no vehicle description at this time.

A home day care operates out of the house. Four children under the age of four were there when the home invasion happened. No one was hurt.
