Report: Judge finds Bruce violated probation
Taxpayer Bill of Rights author Douglas Bruce has been found guilty of violating his probation, according to the Colorado Springs Gazette.
The former state lawmaker and Colorado Springs resident was convicted of tax evasion in 2012. He served 104 days in jail.
The Gazette report says Denver District Court Judge Sheila A. Rappaport ruled that Bruce violated five terms of his probation. The ruling was handed down on January 19.
Bruce will be sentenced in March. He could be sentenced to additional jail time or additional time on probation.
