Denver Broncos return home with Lombardi Trophy

The Denver Broncos are home with the Lombardi Trophy, marking the final touchdown of the 2015 season.

The team flew back Monday afternoon on a charter flight following their Super Bowl 50 win, touching down at Denver International Airport at about 3:40 p.m. Fire crews welcomed the plane by spraying two large arches of water as it taxied down the tarmac. Meanwhile, someone in the cockpit waved a Broncos flag out the window.

The city is planning a concert, parade and rally downtown on Tuesday.

The festivities are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. in Civic Center Park, featuring Colorado natives Big Head Todd and The Monsters, 3OH!3 and Funkiphino.

Officials say the parade will begin at noon and arrive at the park around 1 p.m.
